Adjust Height Of Front Side Window - AR67.30-P-0100-04MFC

Set window guide depth (a) of front side window (1) into roof edge seal (20) 

  1. Close front door.
  2. Insert a screwdriver (21) between the door paneling (22) and the front side window (1) and then into the setting screw (arrows C, D) for the window lifter (23).

    IMPORTANT

    Taper of dimension (b) can change due to adjustment of window guide depth (a) of front side window (1) into roof edge seal (20).

  3. Adjust window guide depth (a) of front side window (1) into roof edge seal (20) by turning setting screws (arrows C, D).

    IMPORTANT

    Turning the setting screws (arrows C, D) clockwise results in a lowering of the front side window (1).

    Turning the setting screws (arrows C, D) counterclockwise results in a raising of the front side window (1).

  4. Check taper of dimension (b) using SPECIAL TOOL feeler gauge.

    IMPORTANT

    A taper of dimension (b) of max. 1 mm is permitted from top to bottom.

    In the event of a taper greater than 1 mm, this must be adjusted within the tolerances by changing the window guide depth (a) of the front side window (1) in the roof edge seal (20).

  5. Open front door.
  6. Connect the electrical connector for the power window switch until it locks.
  7. Switch on ignition.
  8. To check the settling properties of the front side window (1), open and close it several times.
  9. Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (at least 2 m).
  10. Close front door.
  11. Recheck window guide depth (a) of front side window (1) into roof edge seal (20).

    If there is a problem,

    repeat adjustment procedure.
