Remove/Install Trunk Lid Lock - AR88.50-P-0003MFA

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
2 Unclip retaining clips (2). SPECIAL TOOL Dismantling tool Fig 3
3 Unclip handle strip (3) and release and disconnect electrical connectors. IMPORTANT The number of electrical connectors may vary depending on the equipment.

4 Remove handle strips (3).    
5 Release and disconnect electrical connector (5).    
6 Mark installation position of trunk lid/liftgate lock (A85/5) at trunk lid (1).    
7 Remove screws/bolts (4). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Align trunk lid/tailgate lock (A85/5) according to markings.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, trunk lid lock to trunk lid
*BA88.50-P-1003-03C 
8 Remove trunk lid/liftgate lock (A85/5).    
9 Install in the reverse order.
