| 1 | Release and disconnect fuel filler flap (1) from catch hook (arrow A) and remove from tank filler recess (2). | ||
| 2.1 | Remove rubber plugs (3) from release holes. | If rubber plugs (3) are installed. | |
| 2.2 | Drill tank filler recess (2) at defined cutouts (arrow B) using a drill bit with a diameter of 3 mm. | If rubber plugs (3) are not installed. | |
| 3 | Unclip fuel filler cap central locking system actuator (M14/10) from catch hook (4) and remove. | ||
| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (6) and remove fuel filler cap central locking system actuator (M14/10). | ||
| 5 | Unclip check strap from fuel filler cap (5) on tank filler recess (2). | ||
| 6 | Unscrew fuel filler cap (5), remove it, and seal opening with suitable means. | ||

| 18 | Remove suitable means from filler neck, screw on fuel filler cap (5), and clip check strap of fuel filler cap (5) into tank filler recess (2). | ||

| 20 | Connect electrical connector (6). | ||
| 21 | Install fuel filler cap central locking system actuator (M14/10). | ||
