| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Release left front seat, tilt backward and place onto rear bench seat. | AR91.10-P-1000MFA | |
| 3 | Remove lower B-pillar trim. | AR68.30-P-4705MFA | |
| 4 | Fold front left floor covering (1) forward. | ||
| 5 | Unclip air duct (3), lift it up and fold rear left floor covering (2) backwards. | ||
| 6 | Remove nuts (4). | ||
| 7 | Carefully remove holder (5) and turn over with connected electric lines. | Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function. |

| 8 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors from parking system control unit (N62). | ||
| 9 | Remove nuts (6) from holder (5) and remove parking system control unit (N62). | Only when replacing parking system control unit (N62) | |
| 10 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 11 | Commission parking system control unit (N62). | Only when replacing parking system control unit (N62). | |
