| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Open stowage compartment. | Model 243 with code 301 (Ashtray package) |

| 3 | Remove insert (1) from front cigarette lighter with ashtray lighting (R3). | ||
| 4 | Use pull-off device (2) to release catch hooks on the front cigarette lighter with ashtray lighting (R3) and pull out far enough to gain access to the electrical connector. | Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function. |
