Deactivate Transport Mode Using Key Combination - AR54.00-P-0001-01A

Model 117, 118, 156, 166.8, 176, 177, 190, 205, 217, 218.9, 222, 231, 242, 243, 247, 253, 292, 293 

Model 166.0, 172, 197, 204, 207.3/4, 212, 218.3, 246 as of model year 2013 

Deactivation 

  1. Turn transmitter key to stage 1 (circuit 15R).

    IMPORTANT The hazard warning system must be switched off.

  2. Switch on left turn signal.

    IMPORTANT At least 2 flashing cycles must be passed through.

  3. Switch on right turn signal.

    IMPORTANT At least 2 flashing cycles must be passed through.

  4. Switch off turn signal indicator.
  5. Switch on hazard warning system.

    IMPORTANT At least 2 flashing cycles must be passed through.

  6. Switch off hazard warning system.
  7. Switch on left turn signal.

    IMPORTANT At least 2 flashing cycles must be passed through.

  8. Switch on right turn signal.

    IMPORTANT At least 2 flashing cycles must be passed through.

  9. Switch off turn signal indicator.
  10. Turn transmitter key to stage 2 (circuit 15) and check whether "Transport mode" message is no longer displayed in instrument cluster.
