Fit rear dashcam (2) on rear dashcam mount (11) and engage.

Align rear dashcam (2) in center of rear window.

For this, the rear dashcam (2) must make contact with the roof lining (arrows).

Align rear dashcam (2) with center of additional brake lamp.

The rear dashcam (2) must make contact with the additional brake lamp (arrows L).

Align rear Dashcam (2) to liftgate trim at top in center.

When doing so, the rear Dashcam mount must not abut the liftgate trim at the top (arrows S).

Align rear dashcam (2) with center of rear-end door window lining.

When doing so, the rear dashcam (2) must make contact with the rear-end door window lining (arrows D).

On the outer side of the rear window, mark the position of the outer edges (arrows A) of the rear Dashcam mount with adhesive tape.

Aid of helper required.

Glue covering foil (15) on inside of rear window as per the markings applied from outside.

Remove protective foil of covering foil (15) at an angle of 180°.

Before gluing, observe a flash-off time of 1 min after cleaning.

There must be no gap visible between the screen print on rear window and the covering foil (15).
Remove any air bubbles under the covering foil (15) to the side by hand.
Press on covering foil (15) firmly.
Clean glued-on covering foil (15).
Remove markings on outer rear window.

Press Eject button (2.6) on rear Dashcam (2).
Pull off rear Dashcam (2) in the direction of the arrow on the Eject button (2.6) from rear Dashcam mount (11).

The next steps are to be performed after routing the Dashcam wiring harness.
Position black plug (8.1) of Dashcam wiring harness (8) in rear Dashcam mount (11).

The black plug (8.1) is coded and can only be installed in one position.
Fit cover (11.2) onto rear Dashcam mount (11).
Screw in screws (11.3).

Clean surface of rear Dashcam mount (11) on which the adhesive film (14) is glued.

Remove yellow protective foil of adhesive film (14) at an angle of 180°.

Before gluing, observe a flash-off time of 1 min after cleaning.
Glue adhesive film (14) onto rear Dashcam mount (11) and press on firmly.

Pull red protective foil of adhesive film from rear Dashcam mount (11).

Pull off red protective foil at an angle of 180°.
Stick rear Dashcam mount (11) in correct position on covering foil that has already been glued on and press on firmly.
When pressing on, ensure that the pressure is applied directly on the adhesive point. The maximum adhesive strength is only reached after approx. 72 h at 20°C. During the first hour avoid the application of any mechanical load.

Otherwise adhesion problems may occur.
