Please note that the following points must be noted with regard to the thread in the body.
Thread in component parts made of aluminum alloys
- Always screw bolts in and out by hand.
- Tighten bolt with corresponding tightening torque as per basic data.
Defective thread
- For repair requests, create PTSS case with explanatory pictures of the damage.
A defective thread must be checked for repairability before repairing it.
Thread repair
- Not every thread can be repaired.
- If it is not possible to repair the thread, the next largest component part must be replaced.
- A repaired thread must be documented in the VeDoc system.
