The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In case of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be performed analogously.

The safety information in the superordinate service document must be observed.

1. Expose spot welds on the crossbar under front seat at the rear (4) and cut off (areas E_1a , E_2a , E_3a , E_4a , E_5a , E_6a , E_7a , E_8a , and E_9a ).
2. Remove crossbar under seat at the rear (4).
3. Grind all spot welds down to bare metal on the main floor.
4. Remove grinding dust and contamination.
