Remove Mount For Rear Lamp Unit - Ar63.50-P-0004-01MFV

The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. This must be similarly performed for damage to the right side of the vehicle.

The superordinate service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Expose spot welds on the lamp unit mount (1) and cut off (area A₁ , A₂ , A₃ , A₄ A₅ , and A₆ ).
2. Remove lamp unit mount (1).

3. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

   Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal on insides Grind spot weld flange down to bare metal on both sides (areas C₁ C₂ and C₃ ).

4. Remove grinding dust and drill chips.
5. Apply zinc dust paint to insides of spot weld flanges onto connecting flanges that are no longer accessible after installing side roof paneling.
