| 1 | Connect diagnostic system and perform initial startup of engine sound control unit (8) | When replacing engine sound control unit (8). | |

| 2 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key | ||
| 3 | Fold floor covering (1) on passenger side to rear | ||
| 4 | Unscrew nuts (2) and remove footrest (3) | ||
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connections (5) | ||
| 6 | Disconnect optical fiber connector (6) and cover connection on sound system amplifier control unit | ||
| Notes on avoiding damage to optical fibers during repair work | AH82.60-P-0001-05AK | ||
| 7 | Unscrew nuts (4) and fold over carrier plate (7) with control units | ||
| 8 | Unscrew nuts (9) and remove engine sound control unit (8) | ||
| 9 | Install in the reverse order |
