Check Front propeller shaft (20a), rear propeller shaft (20b), thrust plate (1), rubber boot (2) and propeller shaft center support bearing (7) for wear and damage.
If necessary, replace the affected part.
Grease splined profile of rear propeller shaft (20b) using long-life grease.
Position of propeller shaft without clamp connection

Connect Front propeller shaft (20a) and rear propeller shaft (20b).
The humps of the Front propeller shaft (20a) must be located between the two humps on the rear propeller shaft (20b) (arrows). Ensure that rubber boot (2) is seated properly.
