	Risk of death  when working on component parts and systems with U >= 30 V alternating voltage (AC) or U >= 60 V direct voltage (DC)	Do not touch damaged or defective live component parts and lines or non-insulated electrical connections and lines.	AS00.00-Z-0035-01A

1	Remove trim (2) from Vario roof front section (3)	:  Before installing trim (2), check the setting of Bowden cable (1); adjust it if necessary. Refer to: ↓ Set the Bowden cables for the lock on the front Vario roof.	AR77.33-P-3485W
2	Mark the location of cable tie (4) on left/right Bowden cable (1) and open cable tie (4) Notes on Vario roof assembly work	Depending on equipment installed and the vehicle side, mark the installation position on the electrical and hydraulic lines. :  Observe installation marking. 3	Unclip Bowden cable (1) from left/right front latch (5)
4	Mark the installation position of Bowden cable (1) on front thrust bearing (6)
5	Remove Bowden cable (1) from front thrust bearing (6)	:  Observe installation marking.
6	Unscrew bolt (7) and remove Bowden cable (1) from rear thrust bearing (8)
7	Unhook spring (9) from Vario roof front section (3)
8	Unhook Bowden cable (1) from eccentric (10) and remove it
9	Install in the reverse order
