Moving Vario Roof Into Intermediate Position And Securing - AR77.50-P-3000-01W

Install support (1) on right side of vehicle. Otherwise, the Vario roof closed limit switch (left pin) can be damaged in the left mount (2).

The max. opened intermediate position of the Vario roof is limited by the max. extended length of the support (1).

1. Disconnect front and rear section of support (1) and reassemble twisted 90°. Do not tighten clamp screw (3) on support (1).
2. Switch on ignition and actuate Vario roof actuation switch until Vario roof has reached intermediate position.

   When the ignition is switched on the Vario roof is fixed in place in the intermediate position of 15 minutes. When the ignition is switched off, the intermediate position is maintained for approx. 15 s, then the Vario roof tilts toward the front in the closing direction or toward the rear into the trunk depending on the balance point.

3. Protect right main guide (4) against paint damage with thick adhesive ape (5) as shown.
4. Secure intermediate position of Vario roof. For this purpose guide support (1) along right mount (2) and install on main guide (4).
5. Tighten clamp screw (3) on support (1)
6. Switch off ignition.
