Positioning Trunk Lid To Assembly Position - AR88.50-P-5000-01V

The trunk lid (1) can be moved to the assembly position with the Vario roof open or closed.

Shown on model 172.4

1. Unclip cover (3) from trunk lid lock.

   Only on model 172.4.

2. Close trunk lid (1)

3. Switch on ignition and actuate Vario roof actuation switch (model 171.4) or Vario roof actuation switch (model 172.4) until trunk lid (1) is completely open.
4. Switch off ignition.

5. Release trunk lid lock with emergency key and move trunk lid (1) to assembly position.
6. Attach support (2).

   Do not load trunk lid (1) in assembly position, otherwise, the tubular frame and hinge levers could be damaged.

7. Return trunk lid (1) to initial position in reverse order.
