Cut Off Rear End Center Assembly - Ar64.20-P-1000-02V

The following operation steps are shown on model 171.

1. Expose weld seam on rear center section (1) and cut (area E).

   Only perform on model 171.

2. Expose spot welds on rear center section (1) and cut out (areas A, B, and C).

3. Expose spot welds on rear center section (1) and cut out (area D1, D2 and D3).

   Area (D₂ ) only present on model 171.

4. Remove rear center section (1)

5. Grind mating surfaces on rear center section down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

   Grind spot weld flanges down to bare metal on both sides.

6. Remove shavings and drill chips.
7. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
