| Do not touch the glass bulb elements of the bulbs with fingers, but use a soft cloth free of oil and grease; otherwise the bulbs can be damaged by overheating during operation | |||
| Switch off the exterior lights prior to the bulb replacement in order to avoid a short circuit | |||
| Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit | |||
| Open service flap in left or right fender liner | When removing left low beam (E1e2) or right low beam (E2e2). | ||

| E1e1, E2e1 | Left high beam, right high beam | Disconnect electrical connector (3) and remove left high beam (E1e1) or right high beam (E2e1). |
