	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
	Risk of injury  caused by body parts being trapped or crushed when working on a partially open Vario roof (in stop mode) or in its closing area as a result of the Vario roof suddenly collapsing	Secure Vario roof with a suitable special tool.	AS77.50-Z-0001-01A

	Remove
1	Actuate Vario roof actuation switch (S84s1) until the side flaps (1) are folded out	The motion of the Vario roof must be terminated, when the C-pillar top sections (3) are upright and the side flaps (1) are folded out. Leave ignition switched on.
2	Unscrew bolts (2) and remove side flaps (1)
	Install
3	Install side flaps (1)	Tighten screws (2) finger-tight only.
4	Adjust side flaps (1)		AR77.30-P-6373RK
