| 1 | Remove paneling from trunk lid (6) | AR68.30-P-8150RK | |
| 2 | Close trunk lid (6) | ||
| 3 | Actuate Vario roof actuation switch (S84s1) until the side flaps (1) are folded in | ||
| 4 | Open trunk lid (6) | ||
| 5 | Remove side flap Bowden cables (5) from trunk lid (6) | ||
| 6 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) from side flap motor (M49/1) | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connector from side flap fold-in/out limit switch (S120/2x1) | ||
| 8 | Remove bolts (4) | ||
| 9 | Unscrew nuts (2) and remove side flap drive from trunk lid (6) | ||
| 10 | Transfer side flap fold-in/out limit switch (S120/2) | Only when replacing side flap drive. | |
| 11 | Install in the reverse order |
