| 1 | Remove left side paneling in trunk | AR68.30-P-4800RK | |
| 2 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key (A8/1) or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) | ||
| 3 | Unlock vario roof control (N52) at both ends (arrows) and pull vario roof control unit (N52) upward out of bracket | ||
| 4 | Disconnect electrical connectors (1) and remove vario roof control unit (N52) | ||
| 5 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 6 | Perform initial startup of vario roof control unit (N52) with STAR DIAGNOSIS | Only when replacing vario roof control unit (N52). | |
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory | AD00.00-P-2000-04A |
