| 1 | Open trunk lid | ||

| 3 | Unlock lock slider (3) with screwdriver and slide upward (arrow) | ||
| 4 | Remove hydraulic lines (2) from remote trunk closing hydraulic cylinder (1) and plug immediately | ||

| 5 | Unscrew bolt (4) and remove trunk lid position sensor (B24/16) from remote trunk closing hydraulic cylinder (1) | When removing left remote trunk closing hydraulic cylinder (1). | |
| 6 | Unlock retainers (5) at top and bottom on remote trunk closing hydraulic cylinder (1) with suitable screwdriver (6) and remove from mounting bolts on hinge lever (7) | Replace retainers (5) if required. |
