Remove/install control unit (ABC) - AR32.50-P-0023RK

MODEL 231 with CODE 487 (Active Body Control (ABC))

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove cover (2) under lower section of instrument panel at left (1)   AR68.10-P-1500RK
2 Disconnect electrical connector (3) Model 231
up to model year 2017
with code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC))
 
3 Disconnect Electrical connection (13) Model 231
as of model year 2017
with code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC))
 
4 Unscrew screws/bolts (4) and remove Active Body control unit (N51/2) with bracket (5) and place in footwell    
5 Unscrew screws/bolts (14) and remove chassis gateway control unit (N93/7) Model 231
as of model year 2017
with code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC))
 
6 Pull out retaining slide (7) and retaining slider (11) on Active Body control unit (N51/2) all the way in direction of arrow and detach electrical connectors (8, 10)    
7 Unlock and disconnect electrical connector (9) on Active Body control unit (N51/2)    
8 Unscrew screws/bolts (6) and remove Active Body control unit (N51/2) from bracket (5) IMPORTANT When replacing Active Body control unit (N51/2).  
9 Install in the reverse order    
10 Check vehicle level at front and rear axle with electronic inclinometer and adjust if necessary IMPORTANT When replacing Active Body control unit (N51/2). AR40.20-P-0301RK
11 Perform control unit adaptation with XENTRY    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS IMPORTANT When replacing Active Body control unit (N51/2).   AD00.00-P-2000-04A
