	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Open Vario roof
2	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key (A8/1) or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73)	KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) only with CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO).
3	Unclip bottom cover (1) and remove	Mounting wedge	Figure
4	Unclip top cover (2) and remove	Hook in catch hooks (arrows A) of top cover (2) at overhead control panel control unit (N70), swivel top cover (2) upwards and engage.

5	Disconnect electrical connector (3)
6	Remove bolts (4)
7	Unclip anti-theft alarm system/emergency call system button group (S93/3) from top cover (2) and remove
8	Install in the reverse order
