	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key (A8/1) or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73)	KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) only with CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO).
2	Remove center air vents (1)		AR83.10-P-4503RK
3	Unclip cover (2)	Pay attention to position of the catch hooks (arrows). Pay attention to installation position of cover (2).

4	Remove bolt (3)	Screws/bolts (3) do not need to be removed and can remain on the Audio/COMAND display (A40/8).
5	Disconnect electrical connectors (4) and remove Audio/COMAND display (A40/8)	Pull Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) out of instrument panel until electrical connectors (4) are accessible.
6	Install in the reverse order
7	Perform initial startup of Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) with STAR DIAGNOSIS	Only when replacing Audio/COMAND display (A40/8).
		Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
