	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key (A8/1) or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73)	KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) only with CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO).
2	Unclip handle strip (5) at clipped positions (arrows C) from liftgate (1) and pull out of insertion point (arrow D) toward right	Slide guide of handle strip (5) into insertion point (arrow D) at liftgate (1) and clip in (arrows C). Long wedge	Figure
3	Press in clamps (2) (arrows B) and unclip left license plate lamp (E19/1) or right license plate lamp (E19/2) from trunk lid (1)	For this, slide the assembly wedge at the sides under the seal (3) of the left license plate lamp (E19/1) or right license plate lamp (E19/2) (arrows A). Mounting wedge	Figure
4	Pull left license plate lamp (E19/1) or right license plate lamp (E19/2) out of trunk lid (1) and disconnect electrical connector (4)	Check seal (3) for damage. If necessary, replace complete left license plate lamp (E19/1) or right license plate lamp (E19/2).
5	Install in the reverse order
