	Remove/install
1	Release pressure in ABC system using diagnostic system		AR32.50-P-0001-01LF
			AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2	Detach left rear wheel-and-tire assembly		AR40.10-P-1102A
3	Remove rear left wheelhousing liner	Model 217 with code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC))	AR88.10-P-1400LC
		Model 222 with code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC))	AR88.10-P-1400LF
4	Detach cover (1) from rear suspension strut
5	Detach bracket (2) from hydraulic lines (3)
6	Detach hydraulic lines (3, 4) using detaching tool from quick-release couplings	Quick-release couplings must latch fully into place. Do not mix up hydraulic lines (3, 4).

7	Detach all electrical connections (4 ea.) to ABC valve unit on rear axle (Y36/2) and unclip wiring harness
8	Remove screw/bolt (5)	Bolt, rear valve unit bracket to body	*BA32.50-P-1014-03B
9	Unscrew nuts (6)	Nut, rear valve unit bracket to body	*BA32.50-P-1007-03B
10	Remove rear axle ABC valve unit (Y36/2) with hydraulic lines (3, 4) and bracket (7)
11	Convert hydraulic lines (3, 4) and bracket (7)	When replacing rear axle ABC valve unit (Y36/2)
		Install new seals. Check elastomer bearing on bracket (7).

		Bolt, bracket to rear valve unit	*BA32.50-P-1008-03B
12	Install in the reverse order
13	Fill and bleed ABC system		AR32.50-P-0021SX
14	Conduct calibration of suspension strut stroke using diagnostic system	When replacing rear axle ABC valve unit (Y36/2)
