Model 217

With Code 1U6 (R744 refrigerant)

Model 222

With Code 1U6 (R744 refrigerant)

MODIFICATION NOTES

22.07.2020 Document completely revised.

Variant 1 for old specification (system filling capacity 105 g)

  1. Determine weight of removed refrigerant compressor including bolts (1, 2).
  2. Calculate oil filling capacity of removed refrigerant compressor.

IMPORTANT The oil filling capacity is made up from the difference between the determined weight and the dry weight of the refrigerant compressor (3).

  3. Determine weight of new refrigerant compressor including bolts (1, 2).
  4. Calculate oil filling capacity of new refrigerant compressor.

IMPORTANT The oil filling capacity is made up from the difference between the determined weight and the dry weight of the refrigerant compressor (3).

  5. Adapt the calculated oil filling capacity through the air conditioning service unit when filling the air conditioning system.

Variant 2 for new specification (system filling capacity 130 g)

  6. Determine weight of removed refrigerant compressor including bolts (1, 2).
  7. Calculate oil filling capacity of removed refrigerant compressor.

IMPORTANT The oil filling capacity is made up from the difference between the determined weight and the dry weight of the refrigerant compressor (3).

    Example:

    6800 g - 6744 g = 56 g

  8. Calculate remaining oil quantity in system.

IMPORTANT The remaining oil quantity in the system results from the difference between the total oil quantity as per the old specification (105 g) and the oil filling capacity of the removed refrigerant compressor.

    Example:

    105 g - 56 g = 49 g

  9. Calculate existing oil filling capacity with new refrigerant compressor.

IMPORTANT The quantity of oil present is the sum of the remaining oil quantity of the system and the filling capacity of the new refrigerant compressor according to the label (40 g).

    Example:

    49 g + 40 g = 89 g

  10. Calculate oil filling capacity to be added.

IMPORTANT The oil filling capacity to be added is the difference between the total oil quantity as per the new specification (130 g) and the existing oil filling capacity. 130 g - 89 g = 41 g

  11. Adapt the calculated oil filling capacity through the air conditioning service unit when filling the air conditioning system.
