| 2 | Unlock and disconnect the electrical plug connection (1) of the ignition coil for cylinders 1+2 (T4) | ||
| 3 | Remove screw/bolts (2) | *BA15.10-P-1001-04D | |
| 4 | Detach ignition coil for cylinders 1+2 (T4) upward and remove | ||
| 5 | Unclip the engine wiring harness (3) using the vacuum hose (4) and put the components to one side | ||
| 6 | Remove screw/bolt/bolts (5) | *BA00.10-P-1002-04A | |
| 7 | Remove the vacuum hose (4) from the vacuum pump and seal the opening using a suitable plug | Fig 2 | |
| 8 | Unlock and disconnect the electrical plug connection (6) of the ignition coil for cylinders 3+4 (T4/1) | ||

| 10 | Detach ignition coil for cylinders 3+4 (T4/1) upward and remove | ||
| 11 | Check the ignition coil for cylinders 1+2 (T4) and check the ignition coil for cylinders 3+4 (T4/1) for damage | If a problem arises ↓ Replace ignition coil for cylinders 1+2 (T4) and replace ignition coil for cylinders 3+4 (T4/1). |
