The arrow points in the direction of travel. If no angle tightener is available for final tightening, tighten screw/bolts (3) further by the specified angle in a single operation using a socket wrench and breaker bar. Do not use a bending rod torque wrench for tightening in order to avoid any angular errors.
Do not use an impact wrench/driver or compressed air tool to screw in the screw/bolts (3).
The threaded holes are damaged otherwise.
- Wet screw/bolts (3) on thread and bolt head contact surface with engine oil.
- Tighten screw/bolts (3) of the connecting rod bearing to stage 1. Engine 176
