DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
WARNING Risk of injury.  Moving parts can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases even sever extremities. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area of mechanical components when moving components. AS00.00-Z-0009-01A
WARNING Risk of injury  from engine start by remote start function Prior to starting work, open engine hood, do not reach into rotation range or hazard area of freely rotating parts, wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes AS00.00-Z-0024-01A
INSPECT Check     
1 Check poly-V-belt (1) from above in visible areas for wear and damage, and compare with damage profiles.   AP13.22-P-1351-01A 
    IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools. 
Swiveling inspection mirror with lighting, comparable to inspection mirror Hazet 1977-1
If wear or damage is detected,
↓
Replace poly-V-belt (1).		  
    IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.  
REMOVING Remove     
2 Remove front engine compartment lining.    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   Model 118, 177, 247 with engine 260 except code M016 (Uprated engine)

3 Check poly-V-belt (1) in areas visible when vehicle is raised for wear and damage, and compare with damage profiles.   AP13.22-P-1351-01A 
    IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools. 
Swiveling inspection mirror with lighting, comparable to inspection mirror Hazet 1977-1
If wear or damage is detected,

Replace poly-V-belt (1).		  
    IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.  
INSTALLING Install     
4 Install front engine compartment lining.    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   Model 118, 177, 247 with engine 260 except code M016 (Uprated engine)
