Remove Reinforcement From Inner C-Pillar Sidewall - Ar63.10-P-0700-06LFS

with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) 

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Expose self-piercing riveting on inner C-pillar side wall (1) and reinforcement on inner C-pillar side wall (2) and cut with Ø 6 mm bit (areas D and E).

   The self-piercing riveting can also be separated with a riveter for self-piercing and flow-form rivets (areas D).

2. Heat reinforcement on inner C-pillar side wall (2) in crosshatched areas.

   Cross-hatched areas are bonded.

3. Remove reinforcement on inner C-pillar side wall (2).

4. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in the cross-hatched inner C-pillar sidewall.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.
