Remove/Install Brake Vacuum Sensor - AR42.31-P-6003GQ

NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key at a location beyond transmitter range (at least 2 m)    
2 Push down brake pedal several times IMPORTANT In order to reduce the vacuum in the BAS brake booster (A7/7).  
3 Open engine hood and raise to vertical position Model 166 AR88.40-P-1000GQ
4 Remove cover over left suspension strut tower    
5 Remove drain (1)    
6 Pull brake vacuum sensor (B64/1) out of BAS brake booster (A7/7)    
7 Release and detach electrical connector from brake vacuum sensor (B641)    
INSPECT Check     
8 Check seal plug (2) for wear and damage If complaint present

Replace seal plug (2)
 
9 Install in the reverse order
