	Notes on threaded connections with aluminum screws/bolts		AH00.00-P-0006-01RM
	Notes on Self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Turn steering wheel to center position	To do this, move the front wheels into the straight-ahead position.
2	Move steering wheel to rearmost position
3	Disconnect ground line at battery		AR54.10-P-0003GZ
	Notes on battery		AH54.10-P-0001-01A
4	Remove bottom section of dashboard on driver's side		AR68.10-P-1505GQ
5	Remove accelerator pedal		AR30.12-P-1321GZ
6	Remove trim piece on driver side		AR68.10-P-1180GQ
7	Remove steering column tube module		AR54.25-P-2802EW
8	Disconnect electrical connections (4, 6) from steering column tube (1)	Model 166, 292 with code 275 (Memory package)
9	Remove screw (5)	Replace screw/bolt (5).
		Screw/bolt, steering shaft to steering column tube	*BA46.10-P-1004-01J
10	Detach lower steering shaft from steering column tube (1)	The clamping connection of the lower 'steering shaft must not be bent open.
11	Slide lower steering shaft forwards
12	Remove screws/bolts (7, 8, 9, 10)	Replace the screws/bolts (7, 8, 9, 10). Screw on all screws/bolts (7, 8, 9, 10) until they make contact. Then tighten the screws/bolts in sequence (7 to 10).
		Bolt, jacket tube to cross member	*BA46.10-P-1003-03J
13	Remove steering column tube (1)	The guide (3) of the steering column tube (1) must be correctly seated in the carrier (2) of the instrument panel.
14	Install in the reverse order
