Separate Front Roof Frame - Ar65.20-P-1006-02GQ

1. Expose spot welds on front roof frame (1) and left/right inner front reinforcement (2) and cut out (areas A1, A2, C₁ , C₂ , C₃ and C₄ ).

   Cut out spot welds on front roof frame (1) through two sheet metal thicknesses (areas C₁ and C₂ ). Remove only left inner front reinforcement (2).

2. Remove left inner front reinforcement (2).
3. Drill Ø 6 mm spot welds in front roof frame (1) (area B).
4. Bend open sheet metal lug (arrow).

5. Expose spot welds on front roof frame (1) and cut out (area E).
6. Drill Ø 6 mm spot welds in front roof frame (1) (areas D₁ and D₂ ).
7. Remove damaged front roof frame (1) in direction of arrow.

8. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in the cross-hatched areas.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

9. Remove shavings and drill chips.
10. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
