1. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in crosshatched areas A to D.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

2. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in crosshatched areas AA, AB, BA and DA.

   Only on model 164.1

3. Remove shavings.
4. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
