Install And Weld In Center Roof Paneling - Ar65.10-P-1000-04GQX

MODEL 166 

  1. Install center roof paneling (1), fit with spacer blocks and fix in place.

    IMPORTANT When removing, observe specified dimensions and position of spacer blocks.

  2. Drill rivet holes on center roof paneling (1) (area E and F) with Ø 6.7 mm Usibor drill bit.

    IMPORTANT Drill rivet holes from bottom through spot welds predrilled during removal.

  3. Remove spacer blocks and center roof paneling (1).
  4. Deburr rivet holes on center roof paneling (1) from both sides.
  5. Remove drill shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

  6. Apply sufficient quantity of body sealant along the three roof frames.

    NOTES Do not apply body sealant to welding flange.

    This prevents adhesion problems and fire hazard when welding!

    IMPORTANT Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces. refer to manufacturer specifications for adhesive curing and application times.

  7. Glue center roof paneling (1) to the three roof frames with aid of body sealer. Fasten center roof paneling (1) as long as the body sealer is still fresh to ensure sufficient adhesion.

  8. Install center roof paneling (1), fit with spacer blocks and fix in place.
  9. Rivet center roof paneling (1) with 0 6.7x12.5 blind rivet (area E and F).
  10. Weld in center roof paneling (1) in areas A to D with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD
  11. Clean weld joints.
