Remove/Install Side Window Of 3rd Seat Row - AR67.30-P-4001GQB

MODEL 164.8, 166.8 

with CODE 848 (Power side vent windows)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Mask side wall NOTES
Mask side wall in area of side window (1) over large surface.
Prevents paint damage.		  
2 Open side window (1)    
3.1 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from EIS control unit MODEL 164.8, 166.8
with CODE 848 (Power side vent windows)
without CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO)		  
3.2 Press KEYLESS-GO start and stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off MODEL 164.8, 166.8
with CODE 848 (Power side vent windows)
with CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO)
IMPORTANT Remove the transmitter key from the vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).		  
4 Remove cover (3) MODEL 164.8
with CODE 848 (Power side vent windows)		 AR67.30-P-4020GY
5 Remove screws (2) IMPORTANT Secure side window (1) on side wall against falling down.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Use new screws (2).		  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt for side window hinge to C-pillar *BA67.30-P-1001-01A 
6.1 Turn side window (1) clockwise 90° and remove carefully MODEL 164.8
with CODE 848 (Power side vent windows)
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Ensure that rubber seal is seated correctly.		  
6.2 Turn side window (1) counterclockwise until position (A) is reached and upper bolts (4) are accessible MODEL 166.8
with CODE 848 (Power side vent windows)		  
7 Unscrew upper bolts (4) MODEL 166.8
with CODE 848 (Power side vent windows)		  
8 Turn side window (1) 180° until is position (B) is reached and the lower bolts (4) are accessible MODEL 166.8
with CODE 848 (Power side vent windows)		  
9 Remove lower bolts (4) MODEL 166.8
with CODE 848 (Power side vent windows)		  
10 Remove side window (1) with cover (5) from extension arm of vent window motor MODEL 166.8
with CODE 848 (Power side vent windows)
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Do not damage seal below (6), replace if necessary.		  
11 Install in the reverse order
