  Assign specified suspension data
1 Assign specified suspension data online. IMPORTANT To make it easier to assign the current suspension data, the specified suspension data can be assigned online using the vehicle identification number. AR40.20-P-0001A
  Adjust
2 Remove screws (1) of rear transverse control arm mounting (2) or front transverse control arm mounting (3).
3 Detach torsion bar from front axle carrier. If camber has to be corrected on front transverse control arm mounting (3).
IMPORTANT The caster of the front axle can only be changed by adjusting the camber.
IMPORTANT The torsion bar must be detached carefully, as it is under tension.

4 Install old screw (19c) or new screw (19d) in front transverse control arm mounting (3) or rear transverse control arm mounting (2). IMPORTANT On integral carriers with lock tabs on both sides on the front transverse control arm mounting, only the new bolt (19d) may be used.
The new bolt (19d) of the rear transverse control arm mounting (2) can be inserted from above or below.
IMPORTANT The old bolt (19c) can be replaced by the new bolt (19d).
The new bolt (19d) may only be used with washers (19e).

5 Install nut (19b) of old screw (19c) or new screw (19d) up to end stop. If camber or caster cannot be adjusted.
IMPORTANT Do not tighten nut (19b) of old bolt (19c) or new bolt (19d) to ensure that the elastomer bearing of the lower control arm can twist when deflecting.

6 Rock vehicle to settle suspension. If camber or caster cannot be adjusted.
7 Adjust camber. IMPORTANT The adjustment (a) at the front of the lower transverse control arm towards the vehicle center causes a positive camber change.
IMPORTANT The adjustment (a) at the rear of the lower transverse control arm towards the vehicle center causes a reduction in caster.
IMPORTANT The adjustment (b) at the front of the lower transverse control arm towards the outside of the vehicle causes a negative camber change.
IMPORTANT The adjustment (b) at the rear of the lower transverse control arm towards outside of the vehicle causes an increase in caster.

9 Tighten nut (19b) of old screw (19c) or new screw (19d). NOTES The old bolt (19c) or the new bolt (19d) must not be twisted after being fixed in place. When tightening the nut (19b) the old bolt (19c) or the new bolt (19d) must be counterheld.
Otherwise the lock tabs in the front axle carrier may be damaged.
