Draining
- Open fuel filler flap and remove cap from filler neck of AdBlue® tank.
- Introduce extraction hose (2) into the AdBlue® tank filler neck.
Observe arrow on the extraction pump (1) for direction of suction. If necessary, rotate extraction hose (2) around longitudinal axis to get by constriction in filler neck.
- Suction AdBlue® via filler neck out of AdBlue® tank using extraction pump (1) and extraction hose (2), collect it and dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner.
- Pull extraction hose (2) out of filler neck.
- Clean extraction pump (1) and extraction hose (2).
Thoroughly flush out extraction pump (1) and extraction hose (2) with water. Otherwise damage will occur.

Fill out of a container (05) (10 l can)
The filling tools are designed in such a way as to leave an unfilled space in the AdBlue® container after switching off. Never pour in further AdBlue® after switching off. Otherwise damage may occur to the AdBlue® tank.
- Screw fitting (01) on connection (03) and close valves (02).
- Tighten connection (04) on container (05) and connection (03) on filler neck of AdBlue® tank filler neck finger-tight.
- Lift container (05), open valves (02) and fill AdBlue® tank.
Repeat process if necessary with further containers (05). No further AdBlue® will flow when the AdBlue® container is full.
- Close valves (02), unscrew connections (03, 04) and dispose of empty container (05) in an environmentally friendly manner.
- Screw cap onto filler neck of AdBlue® tank, remove AdBlue® residues with water and close fuel filler flap.
- Clean filling tool.
Thoroughly rinse filling tool with water. Otherwise damage will occur.
Filling from a container (06) (5 l can) with disposable hose (07)
The filling tools are designed in such a way as to leave an unfilled space in the AdBlue® container after switching off. Never pour in further AdBlue® after switching off. Otherwise damage may occur to the AdBlue® tank.
- Screw disposable hose (07) finger-tight onto container (06) and onto filler neck of AdBlue® tank.
- Lift container (06) and fill AdBlue® tank.
Repeat process if necessary with further containers (06). No further AdBlue® will flow when the AdBlue® container is full.
- Unscrew disposable hose (07) from filler neck of AdBlue® tank and dispose of empty container (06) and disposable hose (07) in an environmentally friendly manner.
- Screw cap onto filler neck of AdBlue® tank, remove AdBlue® residues with water and close fuel filler flap.
Fill out of the AdBlue® bottle (08)
The filling tools are designed in such a way as to leave an unfilled space in the AdBlue® container after switching off. Never pour in further AdBlue® after switching off. Otherwise damage may occur to the AdBlue® tank.
- Remove cap from AdBlue® bottle (08) and screw AdBlue® bottle (08) onto AdBlue® tank filler neck finger-tight.
- Press AdBlue® bottle (08) onto filler neck of AdBlue® tank and fill AdBlue® tank.
Repeat process if necessary using further AdBlue® bottles (08). No further AdBlue® will flow when the AdBlue® container is full.
- Unscrew AdBlue® bottle (08) from filler neck of AdBlue® tank and dispose of empty AdBlue® bottles (08) in an environmentally friendly manner.
- Screw cap onto filler neck of AdBlue® tank, remove AdBlue® residues with water and close fuel filler flap.
