REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove front engine cover    
2 Drain off coolant Model 166 with engine 157, 278
Model 292 with engine 157, 278
AR20.00-P-1142GQ 
3 Remove both engine air intake ducts (2)    
4 Remove both engine air intake ducts (3) downstream of air filter housing (1)   AR09.41-P-8620MLJ
5 Remove cold air intake (5)    
6 Unclip return line to ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM expansion reservoir from frame of the fan unit Model 166 with engine 157, 278 with code 468 (ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM)
Model 292 with engine 157, 278 with code 468 (ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM)
 
7 Unfasten hydraulic line (11) on bracket (12) Model 166 with engine 157, 278 with code 468 (ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM)
Model 292 with engine 157, 278 with code 468 (ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM)
 
8 Unclip hydraulic lines (8) on radiator (6) (arrows) Model 166 with engine 157, 278 with code 468 (ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM)

9 Unclip retaining lugs of upper air duct segment from fan unit (13) Model 166 with engine 157, 278 with code 468 (ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM)
Model 292 with engine 157, 278 with code 468 (ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM)
IMPORTANT Unclip switchover valve (4) and place to one side.
 
10 Disconnect electrical connection (10) on fan unit (13) and unclip electrical line on fan unit (13)    
11 Remove coolant hose (18) on radiator    
12 Remove coolant hose (15) on holder on radiator (6)    
13 Remove coolant line (16) at radiator (6)    
14 Remove coolant line (7) at radiator (6)    
15 Unclip coolant line (7) on engine bracket (14)    
16 Place coolant hose (17) to one side    
17 Unhook fan unit (13) from radiator mount, place coolant hose (17) and coolant line (7) to one side and remove upwards IMPORTANT Aid of helper required
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure correct seating of the mounts (A) on radiator frame.
 
18 Install in the reverse order
