| 2 | Lift vehicle on vehicle lift | AR00.60-P-1000GZ | |
| 3 | Remove bolts (1) | ||
| 4 | Detach left and right fender liner in rear fender in area of bumper (2) | AR88.10-P-1400GQ | |
| 5 | Remove left and right bolt (5) | Model 166.8 (except 166.874) as of model year 2016 Model 166.874 |

| 6.1 | Remove left and right bolt (3) | Model 166.8 | |
| 6.2 | Model 166.874 | ||
| 7 | Unclip bumper (2) from side wall (arrow a) | Observe lug (4). Otherwise the rear lamp may be damaged. |

| 8 | Unclip bumper (2) below rear lamp (arrow b) and detach until electrical connectors (6, 7) are disconnected | ||
| 9 | Disconnect electrical connectors (6, 7) and remove bumper (2) | ||
| 10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
