MODEL 166, 292 with CODE 468 (ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM) 

	Risk of injury  to skin or eyes from hydraulic fluid spraying out under pressure. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing hydraulic fluid.	Depressurize hydraulic system completely before starting any work on it. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS00.00-Z-0013-01A
	Risk of injury  caused by pinching or crushing when working on springs or spring bodies that are under tension	Use only approved tensioning devices; additionally screen off hazardous area if necessary. 	Remove/install
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Secure vehicle on the lifting platform and raise		AR00.60-P-1000GZ
2.1	Remove complete wheel from front axle	Model 292 Only when replacing the torsion bar (2).	AR40.10-P-1100GQC
2.2	Remove complete wheel from front axle	Model 166 Only when replacing the torsion bar (2).	AP40.10-P-4050EW
3	Remove center underfloor paneling	Install the underfloor paneling only after the leak test.	AR61.30-P-1001GQ
4	Detach lines (1) from stabilizer bar (2)	Screw/bolt, oil line to rotary actuator on front axle/rear axle	AR32.00-P-0001-01A

5	Seal connection fittings on torsion bar (2) and lines (1) using stop plugs	The connection fittings on the torsion bar (2) and lines (1) must be sealed using stop plugs. Penetrating dirt and moisture can otherwise damage the components. Record plug	Fig 1
6	Detach left and right torsion bar linkage (3) from torsion bar (2)	Carefully detach torsion bar linkage (3), torsion bar (2) is under tension. The left and right torsion bar linkage (3) is to be replaced by new parts, if the torsion bar (2) was replaced. Screw/bolt, link rod to torsion bar	*BA32.20-P-1003-02Q
		Nut, link rod to steering knuckle	*BA32.20-P-1002-02Q
7	Remove screws/bolts (2s) and take off torsion bar (2)	When working on the front-end assembly, be careful not to scratch, mark or notch the surfaces of aluminum parts. Otherwise the service life of the of the parts will be reduced. Only tighten nuts and bolts of suspension components when vehicle is in a ready-to-drive condition. 8	Install in the reverse order
	Check
9	Check torsion bar linkage (3) and elastomer bearing on torsion bar (2)	Check torsion bar linkage (3) and elastomer bearing for wear and damage, replace if necessary. Check torsion bar linkage (3) and elastomer bearing for wear and damage ↓ Replace if necessary.
	Initial startup
10	Fill and bleed ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM		AR32.34-P-0021GQ
