| 1 | Remove belt end fitting outer trim and front outer trim | AR91.10-P-1200GQ | |
| 2 | Disconnect ground line from battery | When removing the seat cushion (1) at the passenger side. | AR54.10-P-0003GZ |
| 3 | Remove bolts (2) | ||
| 4 | Remove bolts (4) | ||
| 5 | Lift seat cushion (1) out of mounting bars (5) and move out | ||
| 6 | Unclip pneumatic lines belonging to seat cushion (1) from seat cushion (1) | Model 166, 292 with code 399 (Multicontour front seats with massage function) If necessary ↓ Replace cable tie |

| 12 | Use suitable tool to unclip and disconnect electrical connection (3) of seat occupied recognition from front passenger seat connector block (X55/4) | When removing seat cushion (1) from front passenger seat. Unclip electrical connector (3) carefully. Danger of breakage. |

| 13 | Disconnect electrical connection for Weight Sensing System (WSS) | Model 166, 292 with code U10 (Automatic seat occupancy recognition and child seat recognition) When removing the seat cushion (1) at the passenger side. |

| 14 | Remove seat cushion (1) from seat frame | ||
| 15 | Install in the reverse order | ||
