General 

The time-controlled shutoff function has the task of deactivating functions after certain time intervals. The function is controlled by the central control unit.

Function 

The central control unit (SAM) switches off the following functions of the seat climate control automatically on a time-controlled basis:

• Seat heater
• Seat ventilation

Timer control is carried out depending on the set stage:

• Heating level/seat ventilation level 3 is active for 8 min. The seat climate control then switches automatically to stage 2.
• Heating level/seat ventilation level 2 is active for 10 min. The seat climate control then switches automatically to stage 1.
• Heating level/seat ventilation level 1 is active for 20 min. The seat climate control then switches off automatically.

The timer control of the three levels can be adjusted using the diagnosis tester.
