General 

The air distribution system directs the fresh or recirculated air specifically to various points in the vehicle interior.

Function requirements 

• Circuit 15 on
• Climate control switched on

Function 

The electronic blower motor supplies fresh air or recirculated air from the vehicle interior to the air distribution flaps in the air conditioner housing. These control the air distribution.

The number of air distribution flaps varies depending on the equipment installed. The climate control controller actuates the air distribution flaps via actuator motors. The regulated air volumes then flow through ducts to the respective air outlets.
