| 1.1 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from EIS control unit | MODEL 166 with CODE Z04 (Light armoring) with CODE Z05 (B5 armoring on special protection version) without CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO) |

| 1.2 | Press KEYLESS-GO start and stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off | MODEL 166 with CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO) with CODE Z04 (Light armoring) with CODE Z05 (B5 armoring on special protection version) |

| 2 | Remove left rear door tweeter (H435) or right rear door tweeter (H436) | Figure | |

| 4 | Remove screw/bolts (2) | ||
| 5 | Unclip door lining (3) from mounting clips (arrows) on front door (4) | Position assembly wedge directly on mounting clips (arrows). Otherwise, the retaining tabs on the mounting clips (arrows) can tear out of door liner (3). |

| 6 | Detach door lining (3) horizontally to side from rear door (4) and guide release button (5) out of door lining (3) | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connectors (6) from left rear door control unit (N69/3) or right rear door control unit (N69/4) | ||
| 8 | Unhook inside door opener cable (7) on inside door handle (8) | ||
| 9 | Remove door lining (3) | ||
| 10 | Install in the reverse order |
