	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)
2	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-P-0003GZ
3	Remove left instrument panel bottom section		AR68.10-P-1505GQ
4	Remove trim from left and right A-pillar	Model 166	AR68.30-P-4050WX

5	Remove radio display	Model 166 as of model year 2016 Model 292	AR82.60-P-7722GQC
		Model 166 up to model year 2016 : Correctly route antenna line between radio or COMAND control unit and radio display. Otherwise the antenna line will be damaged.	AR82.60-P-7722GQ
6	Remove side cover (2)
7	Remove instrument cluster		AR54.30-P-6015GQ
8	Remove speaker in instrument panel		AR82.62-P-7833GQ
9	Unscrew screw (3) of instrument panel upper section (1) from instrument panel support
10	Release and disconnect electrical connectors (5) from temperature sensors of side air vents
11	Release and disconnect electrical connectors (6) from front passenger airbag

13	Unscrew screw (9) of fuse box from instrument panel upper section (1)
14	Unscrew screws (4) of front passenger airbag bracket from instrument panel support	Bolt/nut, front passenger airbag to instrument panel crossmember	*BA91.60-P-1010-01H
15	Remove additional fan (8)	Model 166, 292 with code 531 (COMAND APS)	AR82.85-P-0005GQ
16	Unscrew screws (7) from instrument panel upper section (1)
17	Remove instrument panel upper section (1) with aid of helper
18	Install in the reverse order
