	Remove/install
1	Tilt out mirror lens (1) upward
2	Manually pull mirror glass (1) toward rear and unclip from left outside mirror (M21/1) or right outside mirror (M21/2)	When unclipping, ensure that mirror glass (1) and the catch hooks (2) are not damaged. Otherwise it is necessary to replace the mirror glass (1). Clip mirror glass (1) from bottom upward into left outside mirror (M21/1) or right outside mirror (M21/2). Ensure that all catch hooks (2) arrest completely.
3	Disconnect electrical connectors (3, 4) and remove mirror glass (1)	: Ensure that electrical wiring harnesses are routed correctly. The number of electrical connectors (3, 4) depends on the vehicle equipment.
4	Install in the reverse order
