Location 

The central locking inside door handle switch is located in the driver's door trim and in vehicles with Canada version, USA version in the front passenger door trim.

Both central locking inside door handle switches have an identical design.

Task 

Via the central locking inside door handle switch, the locking/unlocking of the central locking system can be triggered and the automatic locking/unlocking activated and deactivated.

The respective front door control unit reads in the status of the relevant central locking switch and actuates the integrated indicator lamp.
