Ensure that the wiring harnesses are not damaged by chafing or pinching.

Otherwise the corresponding wiring harness must be replaced.

The following operation steps can be performed in the same manner on the left or right side of the vehicle. Clarification must be reached with the customer in advance regarding the side of the vehicle on which the Tablet PC mount (4) is to be installed.

1. Connect white 2-pin plug (9.1) of wiring harness (9) to white 2-pin connector (21) of vehicle wiring harness.

   The white 2-pin connector (21) was connected to the left 2nd seat row socket or the right 2nd seat row socket. The white 2-pin connector (9.2) is connected to the left 2nd seat row socket or the right 2nd seat row socket when the center console is installed.

2. Secure fuse carrier (9.4) using Velcro strip at floor covering below center console.
3. Route wiring harness (9) from left 2nd seat row socket or right 2nd seat row socket along existing lines under floor covering and under center console to seat cushion frame and fix in place.
4. Fix wiring harness (9) in place at seat cushion frame with cable ties.

   Fix wiring harness (9) in place at seat cushion frame such that adjustment of the seat is possible without limitation.

   Otherwise shearing off or crushing of the wiring harness (9) may occur.

5. Detach black 6-pin connector from driver seat connector block (X55/3) or front passenger seat connector block and strap down.
6. Connect black 6-pin connector (9.3) of wiring harness (9) to driver seat connector block (X55/3) or front passenger seat connector block.
7. Connect white 8-pin connector (10) from vehicle wiring harness to white 8-pin plug (8.1) from wiring harness (Tablet PC mount) (8).
